booking & payment terms
Deposit: A deposit of 10% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking. This deposit is payable upon confirmation of the booking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 90 days before the tour start date.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and PayPal.
Travel Insurance coverage
We require all guests to have comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other travel-related issues. We partner with one of the industry's leaders, Arch RoamRight, to provide world-class travel insurance.

Medical Conditions: Please disclose any medical conditions or special requirements to us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

Vaccinations: Ensure you meet any health requirements or have necessary vaccinations for travel.
cancellations & refunds
Cancellation by the Guest: Refunds are based on the timing of the cancellation relative to the tour start date.

120 days or more before departure: Full refund minus a $500 administrative fee.

119 days to 100 days before departure: Refund of the deposit amount.

99 days to 31 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost is refunded.

30 days or less before departure: No refund is provided.
Cancellation by the Washoku Tours: If we need to cancel the tour, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
Liability & Responsibilities
Washoku Tours' Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour. We are not liable for events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, and other force majeure events. Washoku Tours is fully covered by Berkshire Hathway.

Guest's Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that you have valid travel documents, adhere to local laws, and act responsibly during the tour.
